Covers the foundations of Human Computer Interaction, including: (1) Basic definitions and motivations of HCI, history, theories, interaction paradigms, design principles and models; (2) User-centered design methods, studies, design approaches for interfaces and interaction, quality factors, evaluation methods and techniques for data analysis; (3) Research frontiers of HCI, accessibility, universal design, and ubiquitous computing (mobile and wearable applications).
