Introduces students to research methods required to conduct data-driven and theory-based research in information sciences and technology. The course will review different research approaches and methods, discusses issues of data collection, reliability, data analysis, and interpretation. Throughout, seminal research papers will be used as case studies, and students will learn to understand and design research.
