Course Information

Survey of optimization methods for students whose main focus is on application of optimization. Covers modeling, search methods, convexity, linear programming, sensitivity, networks, multiobjective optimization, heuristic methods, integer programming, nonlinear programming and dynamic programming; use of modeling languages and optimization tools, including NEOS. Offered by Systems Engr & Operations Rsch. May not be repeated for credit.

Prerequisites

OR 531 and CS 504 or higher programming course.
