9:00 am: VSPE and Cardinal Education Spring Workshop9:00 am: VSPE and Cardinal Education Spring Workshop – Join us for an overview of the Potomac Tech Bridge project and a panel discussion on the responsible and ethical use of AI in engineering. Physically located at The Makerspace at the University of Mary Washington (UMW), the Potomac Tech Bridge is one of 19 tech bridges in the U.S. It is a conduit for traditional and nontraditional vendors and partners to conduct business with the Navy and Department of Defense, and to ultimately provide solutions for the warfighter. In our first presentation, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Potomac Tech Bridge Director Michael Clark will elaborate on the goal and progress of the project. He will be joined by a representative of The MITRE Corporation, who will present an industry view of the project. Then, hear AI specialists from government, academia, and industry as they lead a panel discussion of the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in engineering. Details here! |
