Modeling and simulation (M&S) discipline surveyed at an overview level of detail. Basic terminology, modeling methods, and simulation paradigms are introduced. Applications of M&S in various disciplines are discussed. The course provides a general conceptual framework for those interested in using M&S and for further studies in M&S.
